DOWN Bassist To Guest On 'The Jim Rome Show'

DOWN/ex-PANTERA bassist Rex Brown will be the featured guest on "The Jim Rome Show", one of the nation's premiere sports radio talk shows, on Friday, March 6.

Jim Rome's nationally syndicated radio program "The Jim Rome Show" airs on more than 200 radio stations each weekday and boasts more than two million listeners.

DOWN is the acclaimed New Orleans band featuring CORROSION OF CONFORMITY guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan, drummer Jimmy Bower (EYEHATEGOD, SUPERJOINT RITUAL guitarist),Rex Brown, guitarist Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR),and vocalist Philip Anselmo (SUPERJOINT RITUAL, ex-PANTERA). In October 2008, the group released a "deluxe edition" of its critically acclaimed third album, "Over the Under". The deluxe package, which was made available as a Best Buy exclusive, includes a DVD with over 30 minutes of previously unreleased live performances and behind-the-scenes footage. The album was released on Down Records in conjunction with Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group (ILG).

Philip Anselmo revealed in an online post that DOWN has recorded at least six new songs for a possible new CD which may also include previously unreleased material from the "Over the Under" sessions.
